High-Performance Activated Carbon - MAXSORB

What is MAXSORB?

MAXSORB is a high-performance activated carbon, with some grades exceeding a specific surface area of 3,000 m²/g. This value is approximately three times the adsorption capacity of conventional steam-activated carbon. It is used in fields where traditional activated carbon cannot meet the requirements, such as energy storage devices and gas adsorption.

Features of MAXSORB

High Specific Surface Area
Compared to conventional activated carbon, MAXSORB offers 2-3 times higher specific surface area, providing superior performance as an electrode material for capacitors and batteries.
Abundant Active Sites
The alkaline activation process forms numerous carbon edge sites, resulting in high chemical reactivity. This makes it ideal for applications such as electric double-layer capacitors and water purification.
Variety of Forms
MAXSORB is available in powder, granule, fiber, and pellet forms, allowing for optimal solutions based on customer needs.
